In my kitchen, I cook for a Midwest-born meat-and-potatoes man, a picky toddler with a Golfish habit and a woman who could gladly survive on nothing but pasta and Parmesan cheese (myself). Needless to say, satisfying all parties can be a tricky task, especially as I try to get my post-baby body back into shape. That’s why I also report regularly on my workout routines, although the majority of what I write focuses on food and cooking.


As a writer, I’ve published over 600 articles about fitness and nutrition, but I still sometimes struggle to apply what I know to my own life. But I’ve learned that a balanced approach goes a long way toward making a healthy lifestyle easier to live with -  and that a little time spent in the kitchen can yield delicious results where you least expect them.
